Wild Whales is an original heritage whale watching company in Vancouver, BC that wanted their brand to capture the spirit of exploration that the actual experience offered. As one of the first whale watching companies in Vancouver, the brand needed to combine heritage with adventure.
The inspiration for the new brand came from the abundant natural landscapes of Vancouver — the rugged mountains and the mysteries of underwater creatures. The customized letterforms of the wordmark evoke a whale’s tail and rolling waves, elevating the brand to feel classically distinctive, and a call to adventure.
